Starcomm Sports Radio begins its 17th year of radio
coverage of the best in high school sports.  The 2007-08 broadcast
schedule will include live game coverage of the OIA, ILH, and exclusive
broadcast rights of the HHSAA State Championships.  This is over 50
game broadcasts from August 2007 through May 2008, to include football,
volleyball, basketball, softball, and baseball.

     This year the flagship radio
station will be KUMU 1500 AM.  Starcomm Sports Radio broadcasts
will be a major component of the sports programming on KUMU.  In
addition,  Starcomm Sports Radio continues its 3rd season of
streaming its broadcasts on line with Digital Sports Hawaii
(www.digitalsports.com).  All broadcasts will be live and archived
for convenient listening for fans around the world.

2007 Inter-League Football Season Opener St. Louis vs Kahuku


     Lad Panis, President and veteran play-by-play
announcer, continues as the voice of high school sports.  Joining
him in the booth will be former Pac-5 and Harvard quarterback Neil Rose
(football); BYU-Hawaii alum and assistant coach Brandon Akana (boys
basketball and volleyball); UH alum and former assistant coach Dana
Takahara (girls basketball), and former Rainbow Wahine star Jocelyn
Robbins-Akana (girls volleyball).
